The Universal Motors UMHA 90L2-6 is a 1.5kW 6-pole three-phase induction motor in a high output progressive aluminium frame. It delivers 1.5kW from an IEC 90L frame, where a standard motor of this rating needs a 100L frame. It runs at 920rpm on a 50Hz supply. The winding is dual voltage, 220-240V delta or 380-415V star.

Why choose a progressive frame motor

A progressive frame motor packs more power into a smaller, lighter frame. It suits machines where space or weight is tight, and replacements where the existing mounting is one frame size down. This motor is rated S3 70% intermittent duty on the manufacturer's datasheet. For continuous S1 duty, choose a standard frame motor.
